My policies

Payment policies

You do not pay me in advance.

Instead, I send you an invoice the first week of every month. The invoice is for the lessons you took in the preceding month.

Here is an example of the billing and payment process:

  1. You have four lessons with me in January.
  2. The first week of February, I send you an invoice.
  3. The invoice:

  • Lists the lessons you took in January
  • Informs you of the total amount due for the January lessons
  • Includes a link to the payment page for your invoice (I use Stripe as my payment processor.)
  • Gives you the payment deadline, which is the 15th day of February.

Rate policies

I do not:

  1. Add any extra fees to your monthly bill
  2. Offer discounts, special promotions, or coupons

Schedule changes

A schedule change = reschedule or cancel

If your schedule changes are a month or longer in advance, no worries!

If you show a pattern of schedule changes in the same month, we will have a conversation about this pattern. Goal: Agree on a win-win solution for future schedule changes.

My wait time ➡ “no show”

  1. If you do not arrive for the lesson at its scheduled start time, I will send you a reminder notification.
  2. I will wait for 20 minutes after the lesson start time for you to arrive.
  3. If you do not arrive by the 20-minute mark, I will leave.
  4. I will charge you for this lesson.
